Postcard from Japan – Tokyo Yakitori

Yakitori | she cooks, she gardens

We’re in Japan at the moment, having a wonderful time.

On one of our first nights here we found a great little street known for its great Yakitori, which is basically food threaded onto skewers and cooked over coals. The restaurants are tiny and the food is unreal.

Last night I met an old man who said ‘Tokyo is a dangerous city, a wonderful city… Tokyo is a miracle city’. I’m going to embrace it (and eat all the things).

Have you been to Japan before? If so, have you got any recommendations?
